Proper Creative Ltd was approached by the Nestlé NPD team to help find a solution. Nestlé had already developed the new flavours and unique flavour markings on the bars, but they were struggling to agree the design for the unique wrapper designs at scale.
Using our knowledge of variable data artwork and the capabilities of the fantastic team at ProAmpac - Grimsby combined with their HP Indigo digital presses to create dynamic elements that, when combined using HP Smartstream Designer, would create infinite unique designs. We were also able to add personalisation and deliver named bars to a number of VIPs, streamers, and influencers.
The addition of a tactile matte finish and old-school gaming box was a stroke of genius (shout out to Stefan for that) and really finished off the overall product package.
The project was a huge success. The unique wrapper designs were a hit with attendees, and the personalised bars were a great way to show appreciation to VIPs. The matte finish and gaming box gave the product a premium feel, and the overall package was a hit with both Nestlé and the LEC.
