Working closely with Hetty Buchner, founder of Beat Bites we redesigned the logo from the ground up! Creating a bold, characterful identity using vibrant colours to denote flavour, along with fresh, crisp ingredient and product imagery. This made for a range that would pop off the shelves, virtual or otherwise! (Hopefully into your basket.)
As a startup business it was important for Hetty to grow and invest at a manageable rate, so printing large volumes wasn't an option. Digital printing allowed much smaller minimum orders, especially as all four flavours could make up the MOQ.
The packs themselves were printed on OPP/Metallised OPP which gave a tactile matt finish and allowed us to use the metallic to enhance the design. The great news for Beat Bites is that, as of January 2022, this type of packaging can be recycled in the carrier bag recycling stream at large stores! Something Hetty was always striving for from the start.
